I just finished day 1 of the 5-day 9th North American Systemic Constellations Intensive in Hartford, CT. What a beautiful day! So many lovely reunions, both from my training last year, and from a workshop taken in NYC this past April.

The Intensive was begun 9 years ago by North American constellations facilitator Ed Lynch. He can't be here because of health issues, and I'm sorry not to meet him. From the stories I've heard, he's quite a person. We spend five days in intensive constellations, either in an Immersion track or in a Mentoring track. I'm in the Mentoring track, which means I'll be facilitating under the watchful eyes and criticisms of the faculty. Which is both scary and exhilarating.

But really, there is no harshness in constellations. It's all about seeing what is, and seeing more of what is that you haven't been able to see before. Maybe only just a teeny bit more, but more.

Even though today was only a partial day, my cohort group went into some deep family waters with our first faculty member. What I love about this work is that we all went there together, no questions asked, no hesitations. We come together in a sacred way to be of service to our own families, and to the families of those gathered.

It is a beautiful thing.
