Essential Five Massage Therapy Techniques
My Essential Five Massage Techniques, when combined into one single session, are a combination that is hard to beat. I use all of the tricks and techniques I've picked up over the decades to reduce your pain, relax you, and to increase your mobility as best I know how.
"Deep Tissue" is a variation of traditional Swedish Massage. It uses "working strokes" to access deeper structures to improve tissue glide in the muscles and bring relief from pain.
Integrative Acupressure uses mild finger pressure on traditional acupoints to release muscular tensions and balance the body's energies. Acupressure works with the twelve organ meridians, the eight extraordinary channels, and uses traditional Chinese Medicine concepts of Five-Element Theory.
Myofascial Massage focuses on the connective tissue of the body to improve mobility and tissue glide. Also known as Myofascial Release, Myofascial Massage reduces deep aches and improves comfort and ease.
Orthopedic Massage, also known as Medical Massage, is a system of four principles of Orthopedic Assessment, Matching the physiology of injury to the physiological effects of treatment, Treatment Adaptability, and Understanding the Rehabilitation Protocol. I am certified in Orthopedic Massage since the year 2000.
