As a Certified Orthopedic Massage therapist who is certified in medical massage, I use medical massage techniques in my work, always, matching physiological effects of treatment to what is going on in your body at that moment.
I put Myofascial techniques, Deep Tissue massage, Neuromuscular Therapy (Trigger Point Massage), Acupressure, and Energy Clearing together in a unique way to give your body the relief it seeks, and to create conditions in which your body can both heal itself and give lasting hold for the amazing changes that you will feel in each of my sessions.
I'm not your run-of the mill massage therapist;
No other therapist does what I do.
No other therapist is trained to do what I do, and few have the problem-solving abilities that I bring to my sessions.
I tend to go off-road and create and synthesize new techniques and combinations that work. No matter what field I've been working in, I've always combined and coupled techniques into something new that is better than the sum of its parts. This is no exception; I'm a keen solver of problems, and the issues of pain management in the body are some of the trickiest I've encountered. The good news is that the critical-thinking skills that I picked up in Engineering School really set me apart from the rest.
During the past 17+ years that I have been in full-time massage therapy practice, I have developed my own personal treatment method that combines several key therapies into a dynamite package that I now use all the time with every client. I call it the "Fab Five": Fab because it works so amazingly to relieve pain fast and to keep you pain-free for longer than most Swedish massage therapists can manage, and Five because there are five key techniques that I weave together.
Sure; other therapists know these techniques and can apply them well. But they don't know how to apply them the way I do.
If you want a great massage that not only feels great, but also gives results that last, give me a try and see what my Fab Five can do for you!
